Come to enjoy today with CEDIC Spanish language students and teachers, the inaugural party of the Olympic Games,  from 6:00 PM in the Obelisk, along 9 de Julio Avenue, between Avenida de Mayo and Córdoba Avenue, with free cost entrance open to all the public!

The inaugural party will begin with the parade of the athletes, a show and the lighting of the cauldron.

From the official site, a “360 °” show is promised to be seen from all sides, regardless of the locations of the public, which will be accessed freely and free of charge. “Fuerza Bruta” was in charge of the artistic direction of the show and as it usually happens in the inaugural ceremonies of the Games, it will not be revealed who will light the cauldron until the moment it happens.

“It will be an event that will surprise,” promised Werthein, who for that reason did not want to advance details of the ceremony. “The only thing I can say is that it will be a 360 degree show, so it does not matter where each one is, in the front row or behind, everyone will enjoy it.”
