This course enables International Exchange Program students in Buenos Aires to attend University courses taught in Spanish, with success.
We know that taking classes in a foreign language is a challenge and can be frightening for some students who do not feel confident with your level of Spanish. With 24 years experience, we at CEDIC School can give you the confidence you need to make this a wonderful experience you will always remember.
Do you want to talk to your teachers and classmates in Spanish? In our small classes you will have a lot of opportunities and time for talking Spanish to achieve fluency.
Want to understand your partners and University staff in Buenos Aires? In this course emphasis is placed on understanding “global” Spanish, but in addition we have a special module to understand intonation and specific expressions of Buenos Aires´”porteño” Spanish.
Want to maximize your investment in Spanish classes? In our Spanish language Institute we will not distract you offering thousands of activities, knowing that you can do with your University activities program. How the group course works
- The right class: After taking a writing and oral Spanish level test your teacher will designate you a class.
- Select your lessons: You will be able to choose taking private lessons (just you) or come to the School with one, two or three of your friends to make it even more fun to join a semi-private group ; or can also take group lessons (maximum 5 students per class). In all cases you wil have total FLEXIBILITY to choose the days and times to take lessons and also the amount of lessons!
What to expect
- You will able to speak with your University local colleges and also with those coming from other Spanish speaking countries, about your personal lives as well as the places and activities you are familiar, in all the tenses (present, past and future)
- You will be able to express your ideas and opinion with your teachers, and make them questions.
- From the be beginning you will learn about Argentinean Culture but also incorporate specific vocabulary referred to your selected University career and University subjects.
- You will be able to read and write texts in Spanish; This course will also help you to prepare or correct your University homework.
- If you Need help to make an oral presentation and expose it in Spanish language to your college class, you can make your presentation class front of your teachers at CEDIC School first, then go to your University prepared to expose your work in Spanish!.
- In the intermediate levels, you will be able to express opinions and thoughts more easily incorporating commonly used idiom and you will be able to use the “Subjuntivo”!!!
- In advanced levels you will have the opportunity to expand your vocabulary and practice conversation with up-to-date themes.
